Step 1

Complete the Enrolment Enquiry form under the Enrolling at our School tab

Step 2
Present the following documents to the school office for processing:

  • Your students Birth Certificate
  • Medicare Card
  • Proof of Address for Catchment Area
All documentation needs to be provided before your students enrolment can be finalised.

Step 3
When presenting the above documents you will be provided with an enrolment package and an enrolment interview will be arranged.

General Enrolment Information

  • ​Enrolment Interviews are held on a Wednesday at 9.30am and Thursday at 9.30am and 10.00am.
  • Enrolling students commence on the Monday after enrolment process is completed.
  • All enrolling students participate in the school induction program on their first day at Hervey Bay State High School.


Enrolment Management

Hervey Bay State High School is an enrolment managed school. To ensure you live in the required catchment area, please use the link below:

A school's local catchment area is the defined geographical area from which the school is to have its core intake of students. Hervey Bay State High School operates under an equidistant catchment area.

While Hervey Bay State High School is an enrolment managed school, parents/carers are able to submit a Special Consideration for Out of Catchment Enrolment ​to the Principal.
