Laptop/iPad Devices
Whilst not mandatory our school recommeneds that your student has access to their own device. Students can bring their own supported device to connect to our Bring Your Own network. Our students in Years 7-9 are also eligible to loan or hire to buy a device as part of our school program.
School Uniform
The P&C, with school cooperation, have made a decision that Hervey Bay State High School is a uniform school to ensure that students are easily identified while at school and are safe on the way to and from school. Details about our uniform can be accessed via this link:

Absences
Hervey Bay State High School has a strong focus on student attendance with the expectation of all students to maintain 90% attendance or better to ensure they have every opportunity to gain academic success.
