The Student Council is an integral part on the culture at HBH and actively performs a number of important functions within the school community. Some of the activities included in the Student Council portfolio are:

• Meetings with the administration and student representatives;
• representation at official functions;
• fundraising for schools and charities; co-ordinating socials;
• organising and running school ceremonies such as Awards Evening and the Investiture;
• promoting the school;
• photography;
• video productions

A highlight each week is the Thursday morning assembly which is organised by the Student Council executive. The assemblies not only aim to entertain (with skits, performances and videos etc) but also to celebrate the successes of individual students and groups.
